Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgeons WORLDWIDE are
invited to attend the 21st Upover-Downunder Meeting
Alba di Canazei, Italy - January 11- 18, 2025
Call for papers
I would be grateful for those who wish to present a paper if they would notify me of the title of the paper and it’s duration.
The chairpersons for each session will be nominated in due course. It is expected as in previous years that CPD points from the Royal Australasian College of surgeons will be available for those who attend the academic sessions.
Invitation Upover-Downunder
Dear Friends and colleagues
Our meeting this year was wonderful as always. We welcome great contributions from the Myer family and other new participants as well as our regular contributing attendees.
Already, next year is shaping up as a huge event. Payal is returning and introducing some young registrars. It will be a great experience for them to be in the company of some of the world’s elite surgeons for a week. It has been suggested that we have some presentations on history which I am happy to facilitate.
If you wish to present please get in touch with our sessional chairpersons:
- Rhinology Professor Andreas Leunig
- History/Medico Legal Professor William Coman
- Head and Neck Professor Chris Perry
- Pediatric Professor Chuck Myer
- General ENT Professor Greg Osetinsky
- Otology Professor Payal Mukherjee
I am pleased that my daughter Jane is back taking care of our meeting and the website will be updated in the coming weeks.
I look forward to welcoming you at the next meeting at the La Cacciatora Hotel Canazei from 11-18 January 2025.

Testimonials & Reviews

Review 2017
The 2017 meeting was a wonderful success and probably one of the best meetings we have held. The academic program for this meeting was excellent with a good balance across all areas of ENT and some interesting presentations added to the sessions.

Review 2018
The upover downunder Meeting was held again at the beautiful Hotel La Cacciatora in Canazei Italy. It was a beautiful scene where old and new friends came together for the specialty of ENT. The academic program for the meeting was excellent due to the willingness of attendees to present papers and participate in discussions.
